About Us

Lazy Bear Lodge is owned by Dennis and Sharon Brown, along with their daughter and son-in-law, Chrystal and Jim Stilling. Residents of Cranbrook, B.C., since 1994, Dennis and Sharon enjoy meeting new people and sharing their beautiful area with travellers. They have a soft spot for motorcyclists and love hearing stories from the road.

The Brown family and their welcoming staff appreciate every guest and go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. We believe you will be so pleased with your stay that, like many of our guests, will want to come back year after year.

About Cranbrook

Surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes, Cranbrook, B.C., is a four-season playground. Winters typically see guests of Lazy Bear Lodge heading to the ski hill while spring, summer and fall are spent golfing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking or boating. We are also on route to the best motorcycle road in B.C.

City attractions include the 600-seat Key City Theatre, the Cranbrook History Centre and Western Financial Place, where sporting events and music concerts are frequently held. Lazy Bear Lodge is proud to support Cranbrook’s WHL hockey team, the Kootenay ICE.
